Kirstie Russell

Kirstie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 1997 and worked in the NHS for many years, gaining experience in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal injuries, hydrotherapy and general rehabilitation. Following this, Kirstie travelled to Australia where she worked with Aussie rules football teams, rugby teams and gymnasts, gaining vast knowledge of sports injuries and Pilates rehabilitation.

Upon returning to Scotland, Kirstie worked for 15 years at BMI Ross Hall hospital in Glasgow, where she was part of the senior hospital management team. Here she developed expertise in post-surgical orthopaedic rehabilitation and worked very closely with the orthopaedic and neurosurgery consultants.

Kirstie is also fully trained in musculoskeletal acupuncture and Pilates rehabilitation and has a lot of experience in treating patients with low back, neck and pelvic pain as well as post-natal physiotherapy. To book an appointment with Kirstie at my Cardonald clinic call her directly on 07879063316.

 

Lindsay Smart 

Lindsay has 19 years’ experience both in the NHS and in private practice with his most recent role as a senior Physiotherapist at the Hampden sports clinic. He has vast experience working in elite sport including Skiing (Team GB), Curling (British Curling), Rugby (Scottish Rugby) and Football (Rangers, Scottish Football Association).

His passion however is golf, not only playing to district level but working as a contractor physiotherapist with the DP World Tour providing physiotherapy for the Legends, Challenge and main Tour.
